WHAT IS WIA DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 10 INSTALL
Does anyone know where I can install the WIA drivers from. I received this computer from a friend but he lost the restoration CD that came with the computer. Everything keeps on saying that no drivers could be found. I have a flash disk and that works great but that came with a CD with the proper drivers on it. It seems that any device that relys on XP to install the drivers won't work. I tried installing a scanner, that didn't work, I tried installing a memory card reader but that didn't work either. Like if you click on Printers or imaging device there should be a list of different printers or imaging devices brought up but there is nothing, all it says is "unable to find any drivers for this device!!" The tech had me do some other things but no WIA drivers could be found on my computer. When you go to the Add New Hardware wizard then click on "install from a list or specific site" then go to Don't search I will choose the driver to install, you get the list of different hardware but no matter what you click on it won't show any devices under that heading. The problem is we couldn't find any on my computer. After numerous emails to Kodak I finally called and talked to a service tech who finally decided that using the WIA drivers would be the only way to get the camera to work.
